Girl’s Bible Study
D’s Girls is discipleship training in God’s Word for middle & high school ladies, with a focus to challenge girls to live out their faith in real ways.
The group meets at Brewster’s Coffee House on Tuesday Nights—Middle School ladies from 6pm to 7pm and High School ladies from 7pm to 8pm. A time is provided from 7pm to 7:15pm for all girls to meet, hang out, eat pizza, talk and bond. Bible study time is a serious time of learning, where we are going through God’s word one book at a time. It is a study that allows girls to talk about how the Bible applies to their life individually. It is a time for girls to see that they are not alone and that others struggle to live out their faith too. We meet at a public place so it isn’t too “churchy”, a place where the girls can feel comfortable to invite “new believers” or “I don’t know what I believe” friends.
D’s girls also conducts special events every other month. We either provide various types of community service outreaches or will just have “fun stuff” days. The girls say we ”work hard and play hard”! D’s girls also conducts a Vacation Bible School in Wilson, North Carolina every year. This is a big event in which they work hard to prepare and organize. It is an opportunity to share God’s love in a real way with kids that come from a strained financial and social background.
If you’re a girl in middle or high school, we would love for you to join us! Bring your Bible and coffee money if you wish. There will be free pizza every week, loud talking and lots of laughs!
